Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety marshal in Livingston County, Illinois. The job is in a chemical processing unit. You will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Full-time, day shift.
