We are recruiting: natural gas fitter (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in City of York, England. Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
