Counter butcher wanted in Ibarapa North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Ibarapa North, Oyo State. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. The role involves keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
