Shuttering and concrete hand — Boone County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Boone County, Nebraska. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Your main tasks: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
