Sheet metal welder — Reno County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Reno County, Kansas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety You will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $26 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
