Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Rijau, Niger State. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
