Press shop operator wanted in Smith County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Smith County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
