Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Story County, Iowa. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
