HVAC-R technician — Boone County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Boone County, Kentucky. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. Day to day you will trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; service split AC units and VRF systems. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
