Steel fixing chargehand — Howard County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Howard County, Nebraska. The job is at a high-rise construction project. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire The role involves lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
