Wood machinist • Davie County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Davie County, North Carolina. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. The role involves: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
