Marble fitter • Newry Mourne and Down, Northern Ireland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble fitter in Newry Mourne and Down, Northern Ireland. The job is in a natural stone fabrication unit. You will level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound. You should have: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
