Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Greene County, Illinois. Requirements: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On the job you will handle: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
