Cold store insulation technician — North Somerset

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in North Somerset, England. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Day-to-day duties: • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
