Crane rigger wanted in Waldo County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Waldo County, Maine. You will work at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
