Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Medina County, Ohio. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
