We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Kittson County, Minnesota. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
