Final inspection operator — Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. On the job you will handle: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits 5+ years on the tools preferred.
