Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Atchison County, Missouri. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On the job you will handle: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
