Urgent requirement: framing carpenter (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day to day you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Full-time, day shift.
