Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Dorchester County, Maryland. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. The role involves fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
