Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
