Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Garfield County, Colorado. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Six days a week, one day off.
