Urgent requirement: safety officer (Gombe State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Gombe, Gombe State. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Day to day you will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site.
