Day to day you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles ₦225,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
