Gtaw welder — Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Franklin County, Indiana. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding.
