Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in North Northamptonshire, England. On a typical shift you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
