Urgent requirement: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Wayne County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Willing to travel between sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
