Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. The job is in a refurbishment property. You should have: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish You will dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency.
