GTAW welder wanted in Sevier County

Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Sevier County, Tennessee. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
