Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Nganzai, Borno State. The job is at a busy construction site. The role involves ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦295,000 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
