Back-of-house cleaner — DeKalb County

Join our team: we are hiring a back-of-house cleaner in DeKalb County, Alabama. You will work in a hospital canteen. The role involves: • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass What we are looking for: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
