Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Johnston County, North Carolina. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Part-time with flexible hours.
