Argon welder wanted in Clinton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Clinton County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 4+ years on the tools preferred.
