Vacancy available: horticulturist (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Lucas County, Iowa. You will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
