Great opportunity: banksman (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
