Furnace operator wanted in Marlboro County

Now hiring: we are hiring a furnace operator in Marlboro County, South Carolina. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
