Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Hamblen County, Tennessee. The job is at an automotive components factory. The role involves sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; degrease and clean metal parts before coating. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens Full-time with occasional weekends.
