Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Kent, England. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Rotating shifts.
