Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble cutter in Derbyshire, England. You will be based on a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists You will level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish.
