Plumbing installer • Jefferson County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plumbing installer in Jefferson County, Alabama. You will be based in the maintenance team of a facilities company. The role involves: • Install and repair water supply lines using PPR, CPVC and GI fittings • Install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections • Fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves • Chase walls and floors for concealed pipework • Read plumbing layouts and mark pipe routes on site You should have: • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
