Lift technician • Haywood County, North Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift technician in Haywood County, North Carolina. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
