Immediate opening: window glazier (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a window glazier in Kings County, New York. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. The role involves apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; replace cracked or broken window panes. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
