Formwork joiner wanted in City of Waynesboro

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork joiner in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves: • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
