The role involves braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves.
