Safety inspector • Uinta County, Wyoming

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety inspector in Uinta County, Wyoming. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
