Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Grundy County, Tennessee. You will be based in a garment export house. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On the job you will handle: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
