Metal caster • Ini, Akwa Ibom State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Ini, Akwa Ibom State. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
