Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Henderson County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Part-time with flexible hours.
