Bar bender and fixer wanted in Perkins County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Perkins County, Nebraska. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Day to day you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
